This will lead to very reserved play, but for an amateur to hold’em, conservatively is exactly how you should compete.
It appears to me that I am constantly seeing new players betting very aggressively, they’re the first ones to bet all in, and that’s basically the wrong tactics. If these newcomer players would hold to a top 10 poker techniques, they’d come out much better in the long run. More importantly, this conservative top ten poker strategy will show the beginner gambler patience, which is the most significant virtue that a holdem gambler can possess.
